Here are the facts on the BERDA authorized dealer program.

Some Facts About the Custom Printed Sportswear Industry:
The custom printed sportswear business is a multi-billion dollar industry. It is the biggest part of the promotional products industry. As you are certainly aware, almost everyone wears custom printed apparel. The range of customers include: schools (colleges, universities, public elementary and high schools, private schools) businesses from small companies to major corporations, religious organizations, sports teams, family reunions, and the list goes on and on. The range of products include, custom printed T-Shirts (short and long sleeve), Sweatshirts (hooded and crew neck), Golf Shirts, Ball Caps, Jackets, Tote Bags, Aprons, and more. The demand for custom printed garments continues to grow each year. And many customers are repeat customers year after year. This is a growth industry with no signs of slowing down.

What This Program Is (and Isn’t):
Our dealership program is for those who can follow simple instructions, don’t expect something for nothing and are willing to work.

There is no equipment to buy, and no need for any technical knowledge, we do all the printing and packaging of the orders for you. You only need to get the orders--we do the rest.

This program isn’t an Internet affiliate program. We are not interested in obtaining dealers who want to offer referrals for commissions.

This program also has nothing to do with MLM or any other network-marketing scheme.

How the Program Works:
The beauty of this program is that you are your own boss. And you are not restricted to any one way to sell our products. Here is a brief overview of the program. After reading thoroughly the information provided here and seeing if the program is right for you, complete and submit our dealer application and questionnaire form. If you are chosen as a dealer, you will then be required to submit your refundable* $120 dealership fee and complete our dealership agreement. You then will be provided with materials and instructions as to how to get started. You will be supplied with order forms, brochures and selling materials at that time. After you have obtained an order with your customer’s logo and printing instructions, we will handle the other details of the order for you. We will process the payment, which includes payment by check, money order or credit card. We will create an electronic proof for your customer to approve before we print the order to make sure the artwork is correct. After your customers payment is processed your will receive your commission from us by check. When your customer places a re-order with us (and as long as you are a dealer with us), you will receive your 30% commission on every reorder. Your orders can be submitted to us in a variety of ways, including mail, fax, e-mail or electronic submission. We will not take your orders over the telephone. We offer a toll-free dealer hotline for questions and all questions submitted by e-mail are answered within a few hours during our regular business hours.

Who Can Qualify:
All individuals or businesses that meet our qualifications will be considered. All prospective dealers must complete and submit our application form and questionnaire. Your eligibility to become a dealer will be based on your “score”. Everyone who applies is considered. However, not everyone who applies is accepted.

I Live Outside the USA, Will I Be Eligible to Become a Dealer?
Possibly. We strongly encourage those living outside the USA to apply for our dealer program. However, for a variety of reasons not all of those that apply will be eligible. The best way to find out is to send us an e-mail to see if the country in which you live, would be eligible for our program. If you are chosen as a dealer, you will receive the same support that our American dealers receive, although there are certain other restrictions.

How Much Money Can I Make?
We pay a full 30% commission on every sale.

Here are a couple scenarios to let you see what you can make. Our average order is around $400. Here are some numbers for you to look at.
Sell (2) $400 orders per month (your minimum requirement) you’ll earn $240 a month.
Sell (4) $400 orders per month (just one a week) you’ll earn $480 a month.
Sell (8) $400 orders per month you’ll earn $960 a month.

Here is an example of an order that you can do every day of the week several times a day. A small business (contractor, plumber, etc.) orders (3) dozen T-shirts and (1) dozen sweatshirts with their logo on the front and back. This is around a $500 order. You are going to make $150 on this order. In most areas, there is an almost endless supply of small businesses to sell to.

Here is another scenario. Let’s say you go out and land a $1000 Family Reunion Order (this is very common) you’ll earn $300 in just one sale!

Here’s another one (and quite common), you obtain an order for a school fundraiser for custom T-Shirts (about a 500 shirt order at about $6.00 per shirt), you’ll earn $900 on this order alone. Not bad for one sale!

As repeated earlier, our average sale is approximately $400. Let’s put things in perspective; say you land 8 sales a week (that’s less than 2 sales per day). Further assume you take off for 2 weeks a year for vacation. That means you would sell approximately $160,000 and earn $48,000 in commissions! Not bad.
Said another way, if you only land 4 sales per week you will still earn $24,000 per year. Not too bad, either.

The profits that you can make are only limited by your efforts.

What Are the Products I Can Sell?
This program is limited to our custom printed sportswear only. The other products that we offer (i.e. promotional products) are not part of the program at this time.
What this means is only the custom printed garments that BERDA offers for sale are included in this program – T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Golf Shirts, Hats, Aprons, Tote Bags, etc. A complete list will be made available once you become a dealer.

How Do I Sell the Products?
We have several PROVEN methods to sell our products. We have found that most successful ways to sell our products include:
Direct Selling (personal customer contact)
Network Marketing (working through business organizations, e.g.: chamber of commerce etc.)
Direct Marketing (telephone, mail, or postcard campaigns)
Internet Sales

After you are accepted as a dealer and indicate your preferred method of selling, we will provide you with highly detailed information on how to sell our products using your preferred method of selling.

What is Expected of Me?
We expect you to sell a minimum of $800 per month. This is approximately (2) average sales per month.

We expect you to own or have access to a computer with internet access and the have the ability to download and print our order forms and brochures etc. You will also need to have the knowledge to communicate with us in English via e-mail.

We expect you conduct yourself in an honest and professional manner. If you choose to sell our products by direct contact, we expect you to be neat and clean in appearance.

We expect you to obtain all the details of your order and submit a completed order to us in the manner in which we proscribe.

The Cost To Become a Dealer:
The cost to become a BERDA dealer is $120.00 (payable in US funds only). Payment can be made by check, money order or credit card. There is no fee to apply to become a dealer. The dealership fee is only required after you have met our eligibility requirements and are selected as a dealer*.

The $120 fee is completely refundable after you have sold a total of $1200.00 (3 average orders). If you choose to drop out of the program and do not sell $1200.00, the $120.00 is non-refundable.

The purpose of the $120 dealership fee is to protect us against dishonest persons who believe they can get a dealer discount on a purchase by becoming a dealer.

Your Sales Kit:
After you have completed your $1200 minimum order requirement, you will be eligible to receive our sales kit, which includes samples of our products for you to show your customers. And you will be eligible to receive custom printed shirts, business cards, etc. for yourself.

In addition, custom printed samples, with your customer’s logo, may also be provided to you (this is a very powerful selling tool) for you to show to your prospects.

You will be totally prepared for your selling strategy. We will provide you with all the information you need to make your job a success.
